Good News x 2

Justin passed his third (the biggest) section of the CPA! Yippee! He was so happy we celebrated by frivilously sitting on the couch all night and watching a movie. That doesn't happen around here much. He did great and has one more section to go, which he is scheduled to take next Thursday. I'm pretty proud of his hard work, it has been a long haul and we are both so excited to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

The second bit of news is that he got a second interview for the job in Dallas. They are flying him out Monday. There were 12 people in for the job, two from Dallas and 10 external--only two of those ten got flyouts, and Justin had the least experience out of all candidates by two years! We really feel like the stars are alligning on this one and there is some reason our family needs to move. But you never know, right? "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans..."

CONGRATULATIONS!! to Justin for all his hard work paying off. And to you, Kate, for seeing it all through from the household end. I know its been tough to play single parent on longs nights for ya.

We will pray for this interview on Monday to go well. It sounds like prospects are good! I've got all my fingers crossed!

Well, you already know my opinion on you guys moving to Dallas...I'd love to help you guys find a house in a great school district since we just did EXHAUSTIVE RESEARCH for our house hunting last September!! Say the word and I'll show you all the places we looked at that we thought were reasonably priced with great school districts (and I'll throw in making sure you have a reasonable commute just because we're family).

Katie, today I was driving in Plano on Park running errands and several traffic lights were out (actually, more than several). It was right near the place Justin would be working and I thought of him hoping that he didn't have to face that chaos on his first day here! Wow, what a welcome that would have been... hopefully he was able to avoid it because let me tell ya, it was a mess! Hope it goes well Tuesday!!!
