the kids

Look at the little Ladies Man!

We can't get enough of those chubby cheeks. Nate is two months old and weighs in at a whopping 14 lbs, only one pound less than his 5 month old cousin! I can't wait to see those wrestling matches. He'll have to wait awhile to challenge Jake and Carter.

Apparently these are funny faces--who knew? In other news, it is December 11 and I have done almost NO Christmas shopping. I can't seem to get rid of my bright little kids who watch everything I put in the cart. I have finished one of my stockings though, not making fast progress over here.

I'm having the same issue with Christmas shopping. I was going to get some stuff for J & D today, but instead, I spent an hour and a half looking for the dumb distribution center because we need to garms. What a pain!! Got so much mis-information and then once I got there, I was done in something like 5 minutes. But not left with enough time to go and do something else productive! Aaargh!

Anyhow!! Nate is so chubby and cute!!! How is he comparing to Em's baby weight chart?

I love the pictures.

I don't know, I don't have it! I need to request her medical charts from good old Dr. Vashistha, but it costs $20 per chart and I just haven't wanted to spend the money on that!

ohmygosh! He is so stinkin' cute! How do you manage to get such fat babies? I hope my next one is half that fat.
I made your canitas recipe tonight. Y-U-M! I always think of you when I make it, too. The smell always reminds me of the first time I smelled it at your house and begged you to give the recipe. All my guys love it (well except Tanner, but he hates most everything so dont take it to heart). Lucas had 4 helpings. Hey, maybe I will get a porker here soon after all!

Yea... I wouldn't want to spend 20 bucks on that either. I'll always remember the time his office called when I was watching Em & Cam. I answered the phone, "Lisonbees" and he said, "Are you sure it isn't honeybees?" Ha!

Michelle... is that the Chalupa mix recipe with the pork roast in the crock pot with pinto beans? We make that all the time and LOVE IT!! And I put it in our ward cookbook too. Its a familyf avorite.

Ha ha, at first I thought that comment from Michelle was our Michelle and I was really confused as to why she was calling your baby fat when hers looked like they were fed whale milk. I was even more confused when she said she hoped her next one was that fat...

Yeah, I was confused too when I was reading that comment. lol Your kids are beautiful! I can't believe how fast Nathan is growing. He looks different everytime I see pics of him.

Glad everybody loves the carnitas recipe. I actually got it from my mom, so I shouldn't take all the credit. It's a favorite with us too, by far my favorite crock pot recipe!
